I'd be interested in hearing from those of you who are at NECC '09. What are you learning? What are you finding? Please share if you have the chance.

I tried a similar solution for my brother at his workplace. We had some licensing issues with running certain software. None of the software would be used for education, but it should be fully tested in a small run before putting in all over your ...

One thing I appreciate about this conversation is that we are starting by looking at the possibilities rather than the problems. Too many conversations about new technologies in education start by listing all the problems that can occur. In that s...

Top Ten Tech Trends

I just composed a long blog post in response to a Technology and Learning article about the Top Ten Tech Trends in education. I attempted to ask questions about where Lutheran schools as a whole fit in with all of this. I'd love for this to be able to generate som… Continue

Twitter Bandwagon

OK.....I'm on the Twitter bandwagon, at least so far as to see whether this tool will work for me as an effective means of staying connected without unnecessary overload. If you are so inclined, follow me at http://www.twitter.com/dawblack.

Hi David,

With your work in Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.

Thanks for saying hello. I am wondering how many people from this blog site will be at LEA. As one who has been in Asia for the last 25 years, I would love the opportunity to meet some people in real life.

Dave, Thanks to you I joined Twitter. Well, not just you but you gave me the "push" after reading that you were also finally taking the leap. I also want to invite you to take a look at the ning I started for my own district at http://psdstat.ning.com/. I have 41 so far but getting them to participate is another matter. We're starting small and growning from there.
