Two sources you may want to check out: iEARN and ePals. I'm going to use them next year. iEARN looks promising. I haven't had much luck with ePals.

- This year I am on sabbatical from teaching at St. Paul in Farmington, MO. I will return in the fall of 2010 after receiving my M.Ed in Technology in Schools through MU Online--University of Missouri-Columbia.
I am asynchronously teaching with the 8th grade class at St. Paul to work on a Global SchoolNet CyberFair entry about competitive bicycling.

With your work in Computer Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.
