I need to retract a statement. I think there may have been miscommunication between the principal and the staff at FD. It does support Trimesters. In fact the strange setup was caught by one of its staff people. last week.

We use Fast Direct. It has some good features, but is somewhat limited. For example: We are on trimesters which the program does not support, so our grade book is set up as 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter. Why it is not set up at LEAST as 1/2/3 quarters ...

Hi Jon, There are three popular systems that I find as I visit our schools. PowerSchool, Renweb and FastDirect. It seems larger schools are selecting the PowerSchool and RenWeb options and smaller schools are selecing FastDirect. This may be direc...

Jonathan, did you end up doing the Doodle 4 Google contest with your students? How did they do? Salem entered 6 six students and one of our 5th graders made it as a State Finalist to move onto the Regional Finalists! I'm going to post the information on my blog, but I knew you had said something about possibly doing it with your kids so I wanted to see if you'd heard anything. God bless, Julie
