BGinfo is a neat tool I didn't know about.
This is a little utility for windows that modifies the desktop image with various bits of system information that you would normally have to dig a bit to find.
You can display things like IP Address, MAC Address, User Name, Free Space, OS version and service pack, and a host of other things.
I think this will go on my machines when I image them next, or maybe I'll throw it in their login script before that.
